Tyler and Jennifer said “I do” this past Saturday. It was a great day for a wedding (a little hot, but still great!)
This family are close friends with us. I think I mentioned in their engagement photos preview that Jennifer’s mom Diane, and Andrew’s mom Carla are best friends. Diane also used to work at the studio for us (now we have Diane’s soon-to-be daughter-in-law, Melissa to help us out at the studio.) It was an honor to be able to share in Jennifer and Tyler’s special day with them. The whole day we were surrounded by people that we know… most of which have been around Andrew most of his life!
The ceremony was probably one of the most touching ceremonies I have ever witnessed. I pretty much had a big ball in my throat through half of the ceremony… (you know – the ones that hurt when you swallow while you are fighting back tears.)
After the ceremony we headed to Tunnel Park in Holland. For being Memorial Day weekend, we really did not have too much of a problem getting into the park. By the way, if you are ever entering a park and are behind a limo, just say that you are the photographers and you get free parking!
The reception was at Royal Park Place in Zeeland. The food really was great, there was also some nice “entertainment” after dinner. Check out the picture below of the bride’s brother Mike “rapping”
he will be making an appearance on our blog in October when he and Melissa are married.
